We are off to a great start. We are in the process of completing our non-profit status, just received confirmation that we'll receive our first grant from Time Life, and the Filmaker's Alliance is acting as our fiscal reciever until our paper work is complete. And to top it off, we have our first participant, 18 year old Jabril Muhammed. He is an amazing young man, a poet, raised in the foster care system, has great spirit and is fighting Sickle Cell Anemia. He has a vision of what he wants his film to be about and we are beginning the process of teaming him up with the right mentors.
