I just wanted to give you all a brief update on some wonderful news for our organization.  In addition to 'in kind donations', Individual donations have been streaming in as well as our grant from Time Life's Time to Give Back Campaign.  Filmmakers Alliance has joined us as our fiscal Co-Sponsor. 

We are scheduled to shoot Jabril Muhammad's short film in July.

Jabril Muhammad, has completed the first draft of his 5 minute script with the help of mentors including Don D. Scott.  (Barbershop, Barbershop 2). 

Isaiah Washington (Grey's Anatomy) has agreed to be one of Jabril's Acting Coaches.

Award winning Directors, Rodrigo Garcia and Laura Innes,
have agreed to be Directors/Mentors for Make A Film Foundation and one of them will be directing Jabril's film.

We look forward to continuing to update you on our progress.  Our website is currently under construction but should be up and running in the next week or so.
