"Put It In A Book" Premiere"

MAKE A FILM FOUNDATION recently premiered it’s first film, “PUT IT IN A BOOK” at the Writers Guild Theatre in Beverly Hills to a packed house of supporters including cast, crew and celebrities.

The writer and star, Jabril Muhammad, who has Sickle Cell Anemia was inspiring as he spoke about his experience in working with “Make A Film Foundation” to realize his dream of starring in his own short film.

Jabril captivated the entire audience during an impromptu Q and A where he was asked questions about his disease, the environment he grew up in/his home life, his plans for the future and more.

When asked if Jabril had any advice for MAFF’s next participant, 11 year old Clatyton Beabout who came all the way from Kansas to attend the Premiere, Jabril said, “Remember- it’s just art!” The audience laughed. He continued, “Stick to your story and your vision. And you’ll be fine. And I will be here next year to see your film on the big screen.”

The event was hosted by Catherine Hicks, known for her role on “7th Heaven” and Greg Vaughan, who portrays “Lucky Spencer” on General Hospital.

After the screening of the film, the crowd was treated to a song by the Rhona Bennett of “En Vogue.”

The cocktail reception was supported by Violin and Harp compliments of Peter Sterling. And lights by….
